Many of us have spent hours at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo enjoying the food, activities and people watching. But how many of you have taken your cameras to capture your fun-filled experiences.
This month we welcome Dave Clements back who will be sharing his decade-plus experience as one of two Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo photographers. He will talk about each event that occurs during the course of the rodeo and share how he takes his photos of each and how we might as well, should we want to have a similar experience. He will also try to answer any questions we might have. Time permitting maybe we can get Dave to spend a couple of minutes talking about his experience photographing a Super Bowl.
In May 2017 Dave spoke to the club about his project with Country Artist Kevin Black and his brother Clint Black to raise awareness and funds for the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. He reviewed & discussed some of his photos and the process for his book project, “Raising A Hand”. Dave is a freelance photographer. He is also a staff writer/photographer for the Houston Music Review and house photographer for Dosey Doe in The Woodlands and the Red Brick Tavern in Conroe.
