Our next pop up photo trip will be to Brazos Bend state park near Needville on Wednesday, , March 3.  This is rescheduled from Feb. 15 and March 1 due to bad weather.  We will meet at 10 a.m. at the Nature Center in the park, which is about one hour and 15 minutes from Kingwood. The purchase of  an advanced pass is  recommended (get it online here ) by Texas Parks and Wildlife, since admissions are limited to 50% of capacity. The 4800 acre park contains three different ecosystems and is an excellent area to view and photograph wildlife. Wear comfortable shoes and bring something to eat, as the cafe on the premises is closed. The event will be cancelled if the weather is too severe.
